2021 Silver Medal Enduring Lights Award

There is nothing more awarding than receiving a medal to honor your written work. For me, this was God-given. Six years ago, God gave me this vision to write a devotional for parents with teens and young adults in crisis. It was a devotional that would hit every emotion that a parent struggles with when confronted with a child in crisis. Never in my mind would I have believed that I would receive three extraordinary blessings – this award, the endorsement by Jim Daly of Focus on the Family, and now the book becoming digital and offered around the world. Thank you to all that have supported me in this journey. May God get the glory and may many parents be ministered to through Turning the Tide of Emotional Turbulence: Devotions for Parents with Teens and Young Adults in Crisis.
