MEET STACY

Growing up in the Northeast, Stacy Lee Flury's dream was to be happily married, having a house with a white picket fence, and living the easy road with beauiful and well behaved children. She thinks God was laughing at that last part.

As you can imagine, it wasn’t easy at all. In fact, it was hard, very hard. Raising teens in this world is the most difficult job to do. Even more difficult, is when you have a teen or young adult in crisis.

Stacy Lee’s journey as a parent of a child in crisis led her through a tsunami of problems no parent wants to be confronted with; Self-harm, suicidal tendencies, body issues, victim of bullying, abandonment and rejection, as well as PTSD, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, and more . These issues were only the beginning waves of what was yet to come.

Thank goodness she was not alone. God was right beside her during those rocky waters. Without Him as her life raft, she would have surely drowned by her daily emotional battles. Today she shares her lessons learned and gives encouragement to parents all around the world.

Stacy Lee Flury continues God’s call on her life by sharing personal stories from her heart and using His Word through her devotional called, Turning the Tide of Emotional Turbulence: Devotions for Parents with Teens (and young adults) in Crisis. She loves to speak to parents about hope for the broken family, for they need to be inspired and uplifted.

Wife to her husband Dan of 38 years, she is also mom of two daughters, grandma (Mimzy) to three grandchildren and momma to 3 furbabies. She is notorious at work for having a "Bad day" Chocolate drawer, although she takes in some healthy treats too. She loves to blog and is certified in Biblical Counseling.
